Whats Up Week of May 22 to May 28 - Great Info

I am working on getting a Fred's Store List but for now here is the link to Fred's Store website. The new ad comes out this week (I think tomorrow).

This is the week for good deals on Suave products if you still have your coupons. And I think you can get stocked up on detergent this week at a decent price.

CVS has a deal on a gas card. You spend $30 and get a $10 gas card, but I will be honest I can't see me getting it. I don't want some of the things, there are limits, and some of the stuff is overpriced and I would be better off saving the money and buying my own gas, It's up to you, you may want it.

I have been couponing and stockpiling enough now that I am becoming picky. I look for certain things to add to my stockpile and I pass over things unless they are almost free or free. Plus you have to coupon to accommodate your family size. For me it is just me and hubby, but if I had little ones at home I would buy not only different but lots more. Figure out what you need for your family for 6 months and try to stockpile that (if you have room to keep it). I do not buy alot of frozen because I do not have an extra freezer and I worry about power outages ( found that out the hard way).
So everybody needs to coupon different. I am thankful and blessed to save as much as I can. Sure I like free but you can't always get free so at least get it cheap.

How I Coupon

When I collect my coupons I save them till I see a really great sale on that item. I search the ads each Sunday when they come out in the newspaper (I buy 3 papers each week for the coupons). If I see a really good deal I may buy 1 or 5 or 10 of that one item. I stockpile, which means when I can get something really cheap and have enough coupons for it I buy enough for up to a year's worth. I may not buy it all in one week, it may take awhile to accumulate a years worth of something but the goal it not to have to run to the store and pay full price for it. If I can go to the closet and get what I need and only paid half price for it I saved big. I shop anywhere I can get a good deal. I also use other store ads at WalMart instead of running around everywhere. But some of my best deals are at the drugstores, Walgreens, CVS, and Rite Aid. They offer alot of good sales such as buy 1 get 1 for half, or buy 1 get 1 free. Add a coupon to that sale and Yippee. The websites I use the most for info such as, We Use Coupons are listed in this blog and some offer tutorials. I also sometimes buy coupons from an online coupon clipping service. People ask how much do I spend, and I have a budget just like anybody, I just pick and choose what to buy each week by what is the best deal, and what I have to have that week, and I only spend what I can and quit. I don't stress over it. I try to shop with the sale cycles too. When meat is on sale I stock up on that one cut of meat. I buy bigger packages and divide them and I plan our meals by what is on sale that week and by what I have in my pantry. In other words I try to be frugal in all I do. We live on less and make the money go further. If I am saving money it's a good day. NEVER PAY FULL PRICE is my motto.
